We revisited our digital archives and found projects from 5 years ago that seemed worth sharing. While we understand that looking back may be painful for many, I'm proud of the role we played in the collective effort to combat the spread of COVID during such an unprecedented time.

Hand Sanitizer Stands

Surprisingly, we focused our efforts into creating custom hand sanitizer stands which were in short supply and in high-demand. Today, a quick Google Search reveals countless options that are available for immediate delivery but back then they were either sold out or stuck in a shipping container at customs. Encouraging people to adopt a habit of using hand sanitizer and wearing a face mask was also a challenge - which we tackled head-on through the power of visual communication and design.

Manufacturing

Our in-house prototyping capabilities, paired with strong partnerships in manufacturing, allowed us to quickly produce and deliver solutions to businesses and institutions in need. While we might have made the designs more captivating and "sexy" if it were called for or appropriate for the situation, the emphasis was on speed and practicality.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

As the crisis evolved, we expanded our offerings to include custom floor stickers, face masks, face shields, signage, sneeze guards, and other PPE. Our expertise in designing tradeshow exhibits translated into designing modular, mobile care units for first responders and patient intake areas - minimizing the risks of transmission while maximizing efficiency.

TL;DR

Despite how the year 2020 reshaped the world in so many ways, we were fortunate to be in a position to give back and contribute during a time of crisis, and we're happy that we're all back to business as usual (with more remote workers and Zoom calls, of course).
